At the age of 18 months Paul skied for the first time at Banff’s Mt. Norquay with parents, Banff Mayor John Stutz and Patricia Stutz. From his first race at age 5, Paul had Olympic dreams and he is well on his way.

Paul attended Banff Community High School where he graduated with Honors in 2001 and captained his Rugby team in grade 12. Paul moved his way up the ranks through Banff Alpine Racers and the Alberta Ski Team and was named to the Canadian Alpine Ski Team in 2001. Paul has raced as an independent athlete on the World Cup for the last two seasons. With continued success through all levels of ski racing, he has carried that determination into a successful World Cup career.
